D’ANDREA is an Italian company world leader in the production of high precision accessories for machine tools. Known all over the world for the quality of its products, the D’ANDREA family, now in its third generation, has been engaged since 1951 in the development of technological solutions in step with the times.

At the headquarters in Lainate (Milan) and Castel Del Giudice (Isernia), the entire production of tool holders and modular systems and CNC heads lines for cutting and boring is developed. The current challenge is the continuous development of products that integrate with the new technologies of the digital era.

1951

MARINO D’ANDREA -The founder (1913-1966) registered the brand and, in 1952, began producing the first prototypes of the patented TA head in Milan, designed for high-precision facing and boring operations.

1963

TS – The second version of the D’Andrea head with manual and automatic feed

1974

TA SENSITIVE – The third version of the D’Andrea Head with manual and automatic feed 40.000 heads sold all over the world

1975

U-TRONIC – First numerically controlled mechanical system, Utronic head design useful for drilling and cutting.

1981

U-CENTER – Creation of the head dedicated to working centers with the automatic head change function.

1989

COMPASSO D’ORO – Thanks to the design of the U-CENTER head, D’Andrea obtained the Italian recognition for excellence in the industrial sector and for the industrial design.

1990

TESTAROSSA – Invention of the first TESTAROSSA, the monoblock head for high precision boring operations.

1991

MODULHARD’ANDREA – Development of the new modular system that will become the company’s second flagship product.

1998

ISO9001 – D’Andrea obtains the certification that allows working according to the certificate standards.

TOPRUN – Introduction of the new balancing high-speed tool holders.

1997

AUTORADIAL – Introduction of a new head for automatic boring and facing.

2002

D’ANDREA – After 50 years of activity, D’Andrea inaugurated the new factories in Lainate and Castel Del Giudice with over 4500 square meters of offices and production.

2004

MONOd’ & MONOforce – Introduction of the new range of monolithic systems that guarantee the quality, precision, strength, and convenience.

2006

TRM, TRD, TRC – The new D’Andrea Testarossa line More than 150.000 heads sold all over the world

2007

U-TRONIC – “Supersized” Large heads for boring machines and large machines

2008

TA-CENTER & TA-TRONIC – NC Turning operations on all Machining Centres

2009

D’ANDREA – In the Lainate office are inserted 1000mq for the creation of our training center and showroom.

2011

U-COMAX – NC solutions for Transfer and special purpose machines

2013

MONOd’ CT – Design of turning line with products Monod’ CT that involves the reduction of spindles with thermal shrinkage.

2014

ELETTRA 50 – Creation of the micrometric digital Testarossa ELETTRA 50.
MCD’ – Modular turning system for MCD’s multitasking machine tools.

2015

PSC – Introduction of the new PSC Linea modular product line.

2017

TR-ELETTRA MHD’ & PSC – Extension of the ELETTRA 32 mini range and extension of the ELETTRA PSC cartridge range.

2018

SYNCHRO – Realization of the new patented technology applied on the U-TRONIC and U-COMAX heads.

U-TRANSFER – Ideal head for mechanical transfer and special applications with mechanical feed by a drawbar.

U-TRONIC S+R – Development of U-TRONIC heads with speed reducer integrated into the system..

2020

DRACO – Creation of the new thermal shrinking machine DRACO, designed entirely in the headquarters of Lainate
